An identification code is a unique number issued to all taxpayers in Ukraine. Foreign citizens are no exception. • notarizing documents, for example, powers of attorney;
• paying a foreign citizen.

Which documents are required to obtain a TIN by a foreigner

In order for a non-resident to obtain an identification code, the following documents and information must be provided:

• a scanned copy of the foreigner's passport, which clearly shows a photo, information about the date and place of birth, as well as a mark about entering the territory of Ukraine;
• taxpayer number in the country in which the foreigner has citizenship;
• full address of the foreigner's place of residence and birth;
• correct transcription of the person's name and surname in Ukrainian. If any documents have already been issued to the foreigner in Ukraine, you will need a scanned copy of them with the indication of the name and surname in these documents.

The procedure of obtaining an identification code by a non-resident of Ukraine

Obtaining a TIN for a foreigner consists of the following stages:

• an official translation of the passport is done;
• an application with a request to assign a tax identification number for a citizen is prepared and submitted to the tax inspectorate;
• other necessary documents are drawn up;
• a representative of our agency acts on behalf of the foreigner in the State Tax Inspectorate (DPI);
• a taxpayer card is obtained.
